AN Nipple Adapter Fitting - Blue Aluminum

Nipples are commonly used to create outlets for oil pressure, fuel systems, return lines from the turbo to the engine, etc.

A nipple serves as the transition from, for example, the engine block to AN fittings. This means you can have a metric thread in the engine block, cylinder head, injector rail, or similar, where you screw in a nipple and convert it to an AN connection (fitting).

AN fitting sizes:

• AN-4 fitting is used for approx. 6mm hoses
• AN-6 fitting is used for approx. 8mm hoses
• AN-8 fitting is used for approx. 10mm hoses
• AN-10 fitting is used for approx. 14mm hoses
• AN-12 fitting is used for approx. 17.5mm hoses
