Intercoms

If you drive some form of motorsport, it can be an advantage to have an intercom in the car. An intercom in eg a rally car is used so that the driver of the car and the CO driver can talk to each other 2 ways. Often the CO driver communicates to the driver about the course of the road and how to turn a turn. Modern intercom is made with digital active noise reduction, so it sorts noise from eg the engine/exhaust from, so it is almost only the conversation you hear.
