The electric vacuum pump is used to support or solely generate the vacuum for the pneumatic brake boosting system. It is applicable to all engine concepts, as well as electric motors and hybrid drives. The electrical contact between the vacuum pump and the control unit is made via a cable with engine compartment plug or relay box with integrated plug connection located on the pump. The vacuum pumps are maintenance - free.
